First Travelled the Iditarod Trail as a "tourist" with Joe Redington's first "Iditarod Challenge" in 1993. Ran the Knik 200 & Copper Basin 300 and his first Iditarod in 1995 in extreme conditions.
Scratched in 1997 after going through the ice. Returned in 1999 finishing 37th, gaining the fastest time for an English Musher and the Sterling Achievement award. Returned to run the Millennium Iditarod in 2000.
