WHAT IS HYPOCARE?
Hypocare is a revolution in infection control. It is a topical application that mirrors the body's own immune system. Naturally working with the body, it will kill all bacterial, viral and fungal infections on contact.
HOW DOES HYPOCARE MIRROR THE BODY'S OWN IMMUNE SYSTEM?
The active ingredient in Hypocare is Hypochlorous acid, which is naturally produced by the body's own immune system. When a wound or infection occurs in the body, neutrophils, a type of white blood cell are deployed to the site of infection. The newtrophils then engulf the pathogen and produce Hypochlorous acid which kill the bacteria on contact.
HOW POWERFUL IS HYPOCARE?
Hypochlorous acid is amazing.
It is between 80-300 times more effective at killing pathogens than hypochlorite or bleach,. It achieves unrivalled killing potential, where surgeons use Hypochlorous to sterilize infected surgical appliances and yet it is incredibly kind to healthy tissue ensuring that it will not slow down the healing process.

CAN PATHOGENS BECOME RESISTANT TO HYPOCARE?
NO. One of the magical things about Hypochlorous acid is that pathogens do not become resistant to it. The overuse and misuse of antibiotics has led to the explosion of "superbugs" and antibiotic resistance. Unlike antibiotics, Hypochlorous kills pathogens on contact, rather than having to penetrate the cell wall to attack the nucleus, giving neighbouring cells the opportunity to develop resistance.
Hypocare can be safely applied around mucous membrane areas, such as eyes, mouth and genitalia.
IS HYPOCARE COMPETITION SAFE?
YES. Hypocare contains none of the banned substances disapproved by the FEI.
WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN AVAILABLE BEFORE?
We know that Hypochlorous is highly effective at killing a wide range of microorganisms. We know that it is safe for users and has no environmental or safety implications, unlike say traditional chemical sanitizers or disinfectants. So why has it not been available before?
Well, in truth it has. Hypochlorous acid has been synthetically produced for some time. The bit that has eluded scientist for years is being able to produce it over 150ppm and with a shelf life of more than a few hours.
